What We Do

A surgical mission destination since 2001, Antigua is our oldest and largest mission. The team travels to Hermano Pedro Hospital in late January each year for two weeks. 

The first Medicos team arrived at Hospital Shalom in San Benito in March 2017. Since then, the  mission's focus has been on ENT surgery and a hearing clinic. 

Medicos has worked at Kanifing General Hospital in Serekunda, The Gambia, since 2010, focusing on adult head and neck and complex paediatric surgeries. 

“My Melody School” opened in 2003, in the remote indigenous  town of Chimaltenango, Guatemala, with just five students in a single inauspicious one-room building.
