Guatemala 2024: Departure and Travel Update

Welcome to the 2024 Antigua Mission and thank you to our volunteers and donors whose generosity makes this work possible. This mission marks Medicos en Accion’s 23rd anniversary and our 21st mission to Antigua, continuing a long-standing partnership with Hospital Hermano Pedro.
For first-time participants, the Antigua mission offers a unique opportunity to learn, collaborate, and work in a setting very different from Canada, while contributing to care for Guatemalans with limited access to health services. This update includes key travel information, arrival details, and guidance to help ensure a smooth start to the mission.
