Guatemala 2024: Expanding Care, Reaching More Patients

With our largest team to date, five operating rooms, and an expanded hearing clinic, our Guatemala team completed another highly successful mission serving Indigenous Mayan communities with limited access to health care. Over two weeks, the team performed 184 gynecology, general, and ENT surgical procedures and provided hearing care to 139 clients—addressing urgent needs that directly support health, mobility, and quality of life.

Alongside clinical care, the mission strengthened hospital capacity through new equipment, essential supplies, and collaboration with local partners.
