Guatemala 2025: Teamwork, Adaptability, and Lasting Impact

During an intensive two-week mission, 64 volunteers worked together to deliver more than 218 surgical procedures and provide hearing care to over 140 patients. Across five operating rooms and a busy hearing clinic, the team adapted quickly to new roles, long days, and a fast-paced environment focused on patient care.
The mission also included a successful mid-mission transition of volunteers and continued a hearing clinic program that has been changing lives for more than 20 years. Shared work, cultural experiences, and strong collaboration defined this mission from start to finish.
